What we collect from customers. When you subscribe: your name, email address, phone number, and payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe keeps your payment method on file so we can bill the monthly subscription you agreed to at checkout, and you can end that at any time from your portal or by replying to any of our emails. Once your account is open we also keep the preferences you give us in the subscriber survey, a record of which files you download, and sign-in records that include your IP address and browser. Those sign-in records exist so we can tell your own sign-in from someone attacking your account, and for no other purpose. When you email the desk, we keep the correspondence.
What we do with it. Deliver the files you bought, answer your emails, send receipts, send the renewal notice we promise before any monthly charge, and decide which county and which fields to build next from the survey answers. That is the list. We do not sell customer information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not send marketing to subscribers beyond the service emails above.
Cookies and analytics. This site runs no advertising trackers and sets no tracking cookies. If you sign in to the subscriber portal we set one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. It holds a random session identifier and nothing about you, it is not readable by scripts, and signing out deletes it. The site also runs Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without following you to other sites. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs, and Stripe's checkout operates under Stripe's own privacy policy.
Service providers. Stripe (payments), Resend (account and notice emails), Google Workspace (desk email), Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, and the subscriber database). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
About the data we sell. Our product is compiled from public court records: probate case filings that name estate representatives and their mailing addresses, enriched with phone numbers from a licensed data provider, each carrying Do Not Call and litigator status. It is sold for marketing use only and is not a consumer report. If you appear in this data and want nothing from us: email [email protected] and we will exclude you from our own files and outreach going forward. We cannot remove the underlying court record, which belongs to the county.
How long we keep it. Customer records are kept while you are a customer, and afterward for as long as tax and payment rules require. Correspondence is kept so we can honor what we told you.
Changes. If this policy changes, subscribers get an email before the change applies to them.
